News

The repeater and other data is current as of October, 2007. Thanks to all the hams that have sent in corrections and updates!

I updated all the repeater lists and many other pages. There are many changes, including 22 new 70-cm repeaters and many changes to PL tones. Are there any working 6 or 10 meter FM repeaters in the metroplex? I've never been able to find one. If so, please let me know.

I recently merged TexasOpenSource.com with this site. There is now a dirctory of free, open source software for Windows. I use a lot of open source software -- it's great. And free! Try some out.

Verified Dallas / Fort Worth Frequencies

This is the official source of Dallas and Fort Worth repeater frequencies! There are a lot of printed, on-line and other repeater directories. What makes this one unique is the frequencies are actually verified. Many of the repeaters listed in other directories are non-working. Plus several are not listed. All of these repeaters actually work! I've spent considerable effort on this project the past several years. I also have other frequencies that may be of use. Please do not lift my data, for one reason it changes often.

We have a lot of working repeaters in the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex. Many of the machines are not very active. The repeaters owned by radio clubs tend to be more active and up more often. I am not listing any repeaters that I know are truly closed. Most of the repeaters listed as closed in ARRL publications really aren't. Most repeater owners are glad to have some activity!
